A feature of the "Yunnan Shaihong" production is the final drying in the fresh air under the sun.
In appearance: large, twisted brown leaves and reddish tips. The aroma is intensive, fruity with a honey hint. The infusion is transparent, reddish-chestnut.
The bouquet of the ready-made tea is bright and vivid, woody with fruity, floral and honey notes. The aroma is deep and warm, fruity with a honey accent. The taste is rich, slightly tart, sweetish, with a fruity sourness and lingering finish.
Steep the tea in hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5-6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is 15-20 seconds. Then do short steeps (5-7 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8 times.
"Yunnan Shaihong" is an excellent choice for daily tea breaks: rich, vibrant and very fragrant.
