This is original Taiwanese Red Tea with litchi juice is made in highland area in Nantou, Taiwan in the summer 2014. The summer tea has less interesting bouquet, compared with spring or autumn harvest. But summer tea leaves have maximum tannins and it is traditionally used for red tea production. Tannins make tea taste deep and astringent. Litchi juice is used to flavor tea and compensate the lack of bucket. It is one of few examples of nice and harmonic tea flavor.
The dry tea consists of medium size vinous brown twisted leaves. The aroma is vinous, honey, with nuances. The infusion color is clear of ruby-chestnuts tones.
The bouquet of brewed tea is bright, fruity, floral with honey and fruit candies tones. The taste is bright, dense, silky, sour and sweet, a bit astringent and rich. It has delicate fruit aroma and expressive refreshing aftertaste.
Infuse this tea with boiled water of 95°С in yixing tea pot for red teas or in thick walled gaiwan. Take 6 grams for 120 ml volume vessel. Infuse tea for 5-7 seconds and increase the infusion time gradually till 3 minutes. This tea stands 7-8 infusions.
It is a nice choice for situation when you want something new, extraordinary, simple and friendly at the same moment. It has warming, light tonic and calming effect.
