«Dongding Peihuo» is made in Nantou County in May 2018 by traditional technology (long heating in baskets over smoldering coals) from the first spring shoots of Oolong cultivar, grown in Lugu area.
In appearance: medium-sized, dark brown pellets of twisted tea shoots. The fragrance is intensive, nutty-biscuit. The liquor is transparent, with golden almond hue.
The bouquet of ready-made tea is warm and multifaceted, nutty-herbaceous, with biscuit, woody and berry notes. The fragrance is deep and complex, nutty-herbaceous. The taste is refined, oily, sweetish, changes during tea drinking from soft, nutty-biscuit to juicy, woody with a refreshing berry sourness.
Brew tea with hot water (95°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 5 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can repeat this method up to 12 times.
