"Qing Xin Oolong" ( "Green Heart") is one of the oldest Taiwanese teas. It is believed that it had been brought from Fujian and planted on
one of Fenhuanshan branches in 1855 by a Lugu local, taiwanese Lin Fenchi, who came back from faraway lands with 36 seedlings of tea bushes. In the early XX century, on the Taiwan Tea Experimental Station Qing Xin Oolong, this variety was selected (along with three others) as "authentic" Taiwanese variety. Later, many outstanding varieties were created on it’s basis, but the "Green Heart" stays one of the most popular - both among tea-planters and tea-lovers. Since the beginning of 2010 even Thai produced "Qin Xin" can be found on the market. Well, and our "Qin Xin Gao Shan Oolong" is made in a small farm in Nantou County, in autumn 2016. The technology includes multiple twisting, light fermentation and moderate heating.
