Meishan Mountain (Chiayi County) is located in the central mountainous part of Taiwan island next to Alishan mountains. "Meishan Oolong Cha" is made in a small farm at the altitude of 1300 m. in autumn, 2016. The technology includes multiple twisting, light fermentation and moderate heating.
When dry these are large, glossy, heavy bundles of blue-green tones with small cuttings. The fragrance is sweet, spicy and floral. The infusion is transparent with a tone of yellow grapes.
The bouquet of ready tea is vibrant, multi-layered, spicy and floral with notes of pine needles, pine sap, cloves, peach and melon. Iridescent, sophisticated, elegant, spicy-floral scent. Brew with boiling (95 ° C) water in a teapot, of porous clay for Taiwanese oolong or in a gaiwan. The proportion is: 5 g per 100 ml.
Pour the first brew out, and then use "pouring brewing method" (pouring water through leaves, gradually extending exposure time). The leaves last up to 12 brews.
