«Nantou Gaba Taiwan Oolong» was made in the spring of 2023 in the highlands of Nantou, during processing it went through an additional stage of vacuum fermentation.
In appearance: middle-sized, maroon-brown clumps of rolled tea leaves. The aroma is intensive, fruity-and-woody with a hint of biscuit. The liquor is transparent, with a bright amber hue.
The bouquet of brewed tea is bright and vivid, fruity-and-woody with floral, biscuit, berry and spicy notes. The aroma is warm, complex, fruity-and-woody. The taste is rich and mellow, a bit spicy, sweet, with a citrus sourness and lingering finish.
Steep the tea in a hot water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a porous clay teapot. The proportion is 6 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 30 seconds. After that do short steeps (5-10 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 9 times.
