«Pinglin Gaba Oolong» («Gaba Oolong from Pinglin») is made the North-east of Taiwan using vacuum fermentation technology. Harvest: 2019.
In appearance: small, brown pellets of twisted tea shoots. The aroma is delicate, fruity. The liquor is transparent, with a shade of meadow honey.
The bouquet of brewed tea is exquisite and multifaceted, spicy-and-fruity, with floral, honey, wine and biscuit notes. The aroma is sweet and tender, fruity with hints of spicy herbs. The taste is refined and full-bodied, buttery, sweet, a bit spicy, with delicate fruity sourness and lingering finish.
Brew tea with hot boiling water (95°C) in a porcelain gaiwan or a in teapot of porous clay. The proportion is 6-8 g per 100 ml. The time of the first steeping is about 10-15 seconds. After that do short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), increasing steeping time for each subsequent step, if necessary. You can steep the tea up to 8-9 times.
